1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of zkteco.uk and the integration services, APIs and agent connectors described on it (the “Services”), provided by Cams Biometrics (Dheeram Innovations Pvt. Ltd.) (“we”, “us”). By using the site or Services you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use them.

2. What we provide

An independent cloud gateway, Web API and agent (MCP) server that lets compatible biometric devices, including some ZKTeco-manufactured devices, send data to AI assistants, workflow tools, ERP/HRMS systems or your own server. Account registration and API keys are managed at camsbiometrics.com. Our Services are our own software; they are not ZKTeco software.

3. Trademarks and intellectual property

Nominative use. ZKTeco and its product names (such as SpeedFace, ProFace, iClock, InBio) are trademarks or registered marks of their owners. We use them only as plain text, only to state that our independent software can work with those devices, and only as much as is needed to do so. We do not use ZKTeco logos, product photographs, packaging, manuals, firmware or copied marketing text, and we do not suggest any sponsorship, approval or partnership.

Our brand. This service is branded "API for ZKTeco Biometric Terminals" and operated by Cams Biometrics. The domain name zkteco.uk is used descriptively to help owners of ZKTeco-compatible devices find an independent compatibility service. It does not indicate that we are ZKTeco, an authorised ZKTeco partner or the official ZKTeco service, and it gives us no right in any ZKTeco mark.

All third-party names, logos and marks mentioned on this site (including ZKTeco, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Odoo, ERPNext, SAP, Zoho and others) are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification only. Their appearance does not imply affiliation or endorsement. The Cams Biometrics name, our software, documentation and site content are owned by us or our licensors and may not be copied without permission.

4. Compatibility and hardware

Compatibility depends on device model, firmware and connection mode (for example Native Push or Hybrid Push). Success-rate figures are indicative. Verify your serial number with our compatibility check before relying on the Services. Changes by a device manufacturer may affect compatibility, and we do not control them. You are responsible for lawfully owning or being authorised to operate every device you connect.

5. Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate registration details and keep your API keys and credentials secret.
• Collect, store and process biometric and attendance data lawfully, including obtaining any consent and giving any notices required by the laws that apply to you (for example data-protection and biometric-privacy laws).
• Do not misuse the Services, attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer them, or use them to violate others' rights.

6. Data and security

We apply technical safeguards such as authenticated callbacks and optional AES-256 payload encryption. You remain the controller of your data. No system is perfectly secure and we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

7. Fees

A free sandbox key is offered for testing. Production use is priced by quotation. Fees, if any, are agreed in writing and are non-refundable unless stated otherwise.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The site and Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of data, profits or business, or for any act, omission, product, warranty or support of ZKTeco or any other third party. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us for the Services in the three months before the claim arose.

10. Third-party services and links

The site links to and works with third-party products and services. They are governed by their own terms and we are not responsible for them.

11. Changes and termination

We may update these terms or the Services at any time; the date above shows the latest revision. We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms. You may stop using the Services at any time.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.
