To connect a ZKTeco machine to ChatGPT or Claude, register with Cams Biometrics, onboard the machine, then add the Cams MCP server https://agent.camsbiometrics.com as a connector in your assistant and sign in with your Cams account (or use an API key where the tool supports one). You can then ask questions about attendance and devices in plain language.

Frequently asked questions
Can ChatGPT read my ZKTeco attendance?▾
Yes. Add https://agent.camsbiometrics.com as a connector and sign in with your Cams account. ChatGPT uses sign-in only, not API keys.
Is the connection live for Claude?▾
Claude (web, desktop and mobile) is the most tested. The other assistants are supported but have had less end-to-end testing.
What is the MCP URL?▾
https://agent.camsbiometrics.com, exactly as shown. Adding /mcp does not work.
Can the AI change things on my machines?▾
Only if you give it a Read & make changes key or sign-in. Read-only access cannot add users or open doors.
