To connect a ZKTeco machine to an ERP or HRMS, register with Cams Biometrics, onboard the device, and set a callback URL. Cams delivers each punch to that URL as a signed JSON webhook in real time, and your ERP (Odoo, ERPNext, SAP, Zoho, greytHR, Workday or your own build) maps it to an attendance record. The machine does not need a public IP address.

The ZKTeco machine records a punch (face, finger, palm or card).

The punch is delivered to Cams, cached if the link is down, and forwarded.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a public IP to connect ZKTeco to my ERP?▾

No for the machine: it connects outbound to Cams (Native Push) or through a connector on a computer at the site (Hybrid Push). Your ERP only needs a public HTTPS callback URL to receive webhooks.

Which ERPs are supported?▾

Any that can receive a JSON webhook. Cams has integration pages for Odoo, ERPNext, Zoho People, SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, greytHR, Keka, Razorpay, Bayzat and PalmHR.

Can the ERP also add or remove users on the machine?▾

Yes. The API has 27 REST commands, including AddUser variants, DeleteUser, EnableUser and DisableUser.

What if my ERP is down for a while?▾

Cams caches events and you can ask for a period to be resent with ResendAttendance.
